Our application development team supports you in all matters relating to cavity preservation and underbody protection as well as the application process and application technology, serving as an interface between the customer and the PFINDER material experts. Only the combination of the right material, a functioning coating process, and optimal coating in the cavity ensures corrosion protection. We bring our many years of experience and knowledge to bear on all the points listed, thus ensuring value retention.
For new vehicle launches, our engineering experts can provide recommendations on the optimal wax process or wax coating. In addition, we can advise you on the analysis and optimization of existing wax processes. The suggestions are discussed and validated in close cooperation with you. The results can be verified and validated by us using appropriate technical equipment.

For this purpose, we are happy to visit you to record and evaluate the entire application process. Our analysis takes into account your specifications, your application and process parameters as well as our material properties.
Based on our comprehensive know-how in the field of cavity preservation and its application, our team will be happy to advise you on a series start-up. In doing so, we pay close attention to process parameters to be observed and prevent possible problems directly on the line.
We go troubleshooting for you. We systematically examine existing processes, analyze the problem that has occurred and work with you to develop solutions. For this purpose, both the application and process parameters as well as the material properties are considered.
In the course of a so-called master image documentation, all areas of the vehicle to be coated are recorded and documented. With the aid of an endoscope, images of the cavities can be taken and thus a view into the interior of the body or component can be obtained. The evaluation and documentation of the coating to be found there is carried out by our experienced team.
We are happy to accompany you in auditing quality assurance of already waxed vehicles with our know-how and technical equipment. In the event of faulty coatings, we are at your side from the analysis of the causes to the definition and implementation of suitable remedial measures. Furthermore, upon customer request, a master image documentation can be prepared in which all areas of the vehicle to be coated are recorded and documented. This master image can then serve as a guide for internal audits.
If problems arise on the production line that are material-specific, the application development team can be called upon quickly and flexibly to help rectify the problem. In doing so, a solution is sought as quickly as possible with the responsible process owners. At the same time, our on-site team serves as an interface between the customer and the PFINDER material experts.
In our technical center in Böblingen near Stuttgart, we carry out application and coating tests as well as joint preliminary tests on your components or prototypes - for example, to select wax materials. In addition, we offer our Application Engineering Team to carry out application tests with our equipment directly on your premises.
Here, not only application-technical but also material-technical questions are answered, since the application technique strongly depends on the material properties.
